Annual Christmas Open House at the Courthouse Museum

On Sunday, December 7, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., everyone is invited to join us for the 41st Annual Christmas Open House at the Courthouse Museum. This year, we are celebrating a special milestone—the 150th Anniversary of our recently renovated Courthouse. Our historic building will be adorned with 95 beautifully decorated Christmas trees.

During the open house, enjoy treats and traditional Courthouse eggnog while listening to live performances starting at 1:00 p.m. Featured groups include Sandra Stocking’s Flute Group, Our Lady of Mercy School Christmas Choir, Sounds of the Valley Chorus, Merced Baroque Sinfonia, St. Paul School Choir, and Bear Creek Ukulele Society. The event is free, and the Museum is located at 21st and N Streets in Merced. The Christmas tree exhibit will be on display until December 30.

In addition, teachers should note that the Museum will be open for walk-through tours on weekday mornings throughout December, making it a great opportunity to bring your class.
